With offices in Lisbon, Ă“bidos, Brussels, Madrid, and Barcelona, we are looking for 1 (one) Finance & Administration Specialist to support the Finance and Administration Department in Lisbon.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Invoicing & Collections: Generate and send invoices, track payments, manage accounts receivable, and proactively follow up on overdue payments to minimize DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
  • DSO Management: Analyze DSO, identify trends, and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce outstanding balances.
  • Provider Management: Manage relationships with external providers, process invoices, ensure timely payments, and negotiate contracts as needed.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, analyze financial data, and provide insights to support business decision-making. This may include budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Accounting Support: Support general accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, handling correspondence, and coordinating logistics.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial and administrative regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned: This is a dynamic role in a small company, and you should be prepared to contribute to other areas as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar finance and administration role, preferably in a small to medium-sized company.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is essential. We value other language knowledge like Spanish or French (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., TOCOnline).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.

Contract Type: Fixed-term Employment Contract (12 months), with the possibility of renewal.
